The Spine as a Skewer
The instructor guides an exploration of the spine as a continuous axis between the pelvis and the head. Participants lie on their backs and perform gentle pelvic tilts, eventually using their feet and heels to create a rhythmic oscillation that travels up the vertebrae to move the head. Variations include different leg configurations and lifting the head with the hands.
