Exploring Spinal Extension and Leg Counterbalance

This lesson primarily takes place face down on the floor. Students practice lifting the head and looking forward while exploring how different combinations of bending one knee and lifting the opposite leg change the effort in the back, ribs, and pelvis. It concludes with gentle rounding of the back to integrate the movements.
